Use these short answers to locate the right workflow. They describe shipped behavior; plan prices, limits, and third-party client menus should always be checked in the current application.
Can I invite my team?
Yes. Project owners and admins can invite an email address as an admin, member, or guest. A signed invitation link is sent to the recipient. See Invitations & permissions.
What can a guest do?
Guests can view project content and watch tasks, but cannot make project changes such as comments, task updates, or uploads. Ask an owner or admin to change the role if active work is needed.
Why is a project missing?
Check the project switcher, the account that accepted the invitation, and current membership before assuming deletion. See Missing project.
Can I use more than one board?
Yes. Projects can contain multiple boards. Use another board for a separate workflow; use columns for the stages within one workflow. See Boards & columns.
Why can’t I complete a task?
Taskavel checks incomplete subtasks, checklist items, and blocking dependencies before completion. Resolve or update those relationships first. See Task details.
Is archiving the same as deleting a task?
No. Archiving soft-deletes a task and allows restoration. Permanent destruction is a separate irreversible action performed from the archive workflow. See Archived tasks.
Can I track time without a running timer?
Yes. Add a manual entry from My Time Logs. A user can have one running timer, so starting another stops the previous one. See Timers.
Why are browser notifications missing?
Taskavel’s notification preference and the browser’s site permission both need to allow notifications. See Browser notifications.
Why can’t I upload an attachment?
Uploads require an active project role and available storage under the project owner’s allowance. Guests cannot upload. See Attachments.
Where do I manage subscription invoices?
Use Account Settings → Billing. Those Stripe subscription invoices are separate from invoices created by the Invoicing.to integration. See Billing & invoices.
How do AI credits and project AI settings work?
Use AI Credits for balance and usage. Personal task suggestions require opt-in; project-level AI access is controlled by the project owner. See AI credits.
Can an AI assistant access every project?
No. MCP acts as the authenticated Taskavel user and follows that user’s project membership and role permissions. See MCP access.
How do I revoke an AI connection?
Open Account Settings → AI Integration (MCP). OAuth clients and personal access tokens are listed and revoked separately. See the MCP connection settings guide.
