Write daily standups

Share a written update, attach relevant tasks, and review the team feed.

Create your daily update

Open My Daily Standup and write the summary for the day. Add relevant tasks to the standup when the task context helps the team understand the update.

Read the team feed

Open Team Daily Standup to review colleagues’ updates. This keeps a written record in the application instead of requiring a synchronous meeting.

Use integrations only after they are connected

The application includes Discord and Slack integrations. Configure the appropriate integration before relying on standup delivery outside Taskavel; the integration pages show the connection state for the account or project.

A useful standup workflow

Open My Daily Standup, write the summary, and add only the tasks that provide useful context. The task comment attached to a standup should explain the update rather than repeat the task title. Then open Team Daily Standup to read the team feed and identify blocked work that needs follow-up.

Written standups are not a permission bypass: you can only add work you are allowed to access. If your team expects an external delivery, first verify that the relevant Discord or Slack integration is connected; Taskavel’s internal standup feed remains the source inside the application.
