Find work with tasks, filters, favorites, archives, and activity

Use the consolidated task views to locate current, saved, archived, and recently changed work.

Start with My Tasks

Open My Tasks for the consolidated task view. Its filters and table help narrow work by the data attached to tasks, such as project, task state, dates, assignee, tags, priority, and board context.

Save frequently used work

Use Favorites for projects and tasks you return to often. Favorites are personal shortcuts; they do not change the project’s members or task permissions.

Use archive and activity as different tools

Archived Tasks is for work removed from active boards that may need restoration or later destruction. Project Activity is for understanding what changed. Use the archive to recover a task and the activity feed to investigate the history around it.

Start from the question you need to answer

Use My Tasks when you need your current work, including its filters and table. Use a board when you need the project’s workflow state. Use Favorites when you know you will return to a task or project; favorites are personal shortcuts and do not change access or assignment. Use Project Activity when the question is “what changed?”, not when the question is “what should I work on?”

If a task seems to have disappeared, check the current project, filters, and archive before concluding it was deleted. Restore from the archive when appropriate; permanent destruction is a later, explicit action.
